About the role
Shoott is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who is motivated by complex and challenging work and values working closely with a team to solve problems. This role requires expertise that is equal parts data-driven analysis, project management, and strategic, creative problem solving in a fast-paced environment. As part of the senior leadership team, we are looking for team players who excel at both big picture thinking as well as detail-oriented execution and are comfortable pivoting quickly for whatever challenge arises. This role will be in charge of developing and executing the growth strategy for the company.
Must have previous digital marketing experience, 5+ years (Required)
Pro at working with Google Ads, Facebook Ads as well as other social or digital channels
Possesses ability to understand audience trends, analyze data, and adapt marketing plans accordingly
Must develop marketing strategy that effectively communicates the brand to the target audience in a compelling and distinctive manner
Has a passion for analytics, particularly when distilling raw data - experience with financial modeling and/or architecting reporting systems a major plus
Possesses the vision to plan one year in advance and to make adjustments when needed; able to consider and plan for any changes or developments on behalf of any relevant stakeholders within and outside of the business
Comfortable with the fast-paced nature of startups, dedicated to teamwork, accountability, organization, and communication.
As a C-Suite member, adept and proactive at problem-solving, mentoring, project management and conflict resolution. Must be able to maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and ownership at all times.
Desired: Experience with coding and/or working with development teams
